The PuzzleScript editor, created by Stephen Lavelle, is both a development environment for creating tile-based puzzle games and an implementation of PuzzleScript.

Non-developers Edit

If you don't have the know-how to contribute code directly to PuzzleScript, you can still help out. If you find what appears to be a bug or a feature to suggest, feel free to submit a report to the PuzzleScript forums or on the GitHub issue tracker. To make it easier for the developers to fix a bug, in your bug report include an example project that demonstrates the bug, your system details (operating system and browser), and any understanding you have of the bug.

Developers Edit

The PuzzleScript editor is open source software available under the MIT license. The source code is available on GitHub, allowing you to download and tinker with it as you please.

If you would like to implement a new feature or fix an existing bug, the easiest way to do so is to fork the PuzzleScript repository, which gives you a copy of the source hosted on GitHub, and then modify your forked copy. When you are done, submit a pull request to the official PuzzleScript repository and your changes will be reviewed and potentially incorporated.
